AMERSHAM CHRISTMAS SPECIAL MEGA MUSIC QUIZ
It's "Yo-ho-ho" time as our quiz masters Adam and Jim put on a spectacular Christmas-themed night to test your knowledge of nearly six decades of pop music. The charity we are supporting this time is Scanappeal. The "Elderly Brothers" have compiled tonight's questions with tender loving care since they were almost in nappies and will as usual be playing loads of excellent music, and some less so, but it all depends on your taste! After the Third Mega Music quiz in September, our regular scorer Alan was listening with glazed eyes and glass in hand to that gorgeous songstress Duffy singing "Please Stay" (oh yes, the old rocker is right up to date with his music if it involves a femme fatale!) when Napoleon XIV burst in with the men in white coats to take him away ha-haa!!!. He is now doing time with his abacus on Bondi Beach in the Land of Oz. Alan en route to Australia!! But being the super troupers that they are -- although not quite as tasty as Abba's Agnetha and Frida -- Adam and Jim decided the show most go on for their small number of fans. Hurtling in at great speed to replace Alan as the scorer is Mark Komorowski. Adam, for reasons best known to himself, will be going Down Under soon after the Christmas quiz to join Alan in further pursuit of elusive questions with which to test your musical knowledge in future quizzes next year. Our intrepid quiz masters Adam Komorowski and Jim Grant travel the world just for you, forsaking every drink placed in their hands because they don't want to waste a minute in their hot pursuit of new questions (well, that is what it says here in the script!) The rhino? Oh, that's there because it took a fancy to Alan!!!. This will leave Jim in sole charge of compering next month's Christmas Concert starring The Rubettes with special guest Julie Felix. Will he last the pace?. Those were the days my friend! Adam and Jim in the attic!! We normally look at having teams of four to six people, so make up your own or come along and we will link you up with other friendly faces. There will be a prize for the winning team. Join us for a fun-packed night!!! SATURDAY 29TH NOVEMBER GREAT MISSENDEN CHRISTMAS FAIR - GATEWAY SCHOOL
