Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for A.A. membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organisation or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

Chiltern Counselling provides counselling for anyone who may be feeling depressed, anxious, has suffered loss or is finding it difficult to make or maintain relationships. These are just some of the reasons clients get in touch with us. We offer a confidential service where clients can see a counsellor to talk about and work through their issues.

All clients are offered an initial appointment lasting up to one and a half hours where they can talk through their issues with an assessment counsellor. Clients are then allocated to a personal counsellor whom they continue to see once a week on a regular basis. Chiltern Counselling works with everyone and celebrates diverse race, ethnicity, belief, sexual orientation and disability status.
